Jim was appointed President of ABCO Industries Limited, Lunenburg, NS in 1984. Jim then became founding President of ABCO Group Limited (1987), West Nova Fuels (1987), and Nova Wood Products (1992). Jim was a founding partner of Stella Aerospace North America Limited (1987). In additional to involvement with numerous volunteer Boards and activities, Jim was a member of the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Power Incorporated from 2008 and 2024 and served as Chair of the Board from 2011 go 2016. Jim is a Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia.
