Biography

As president of The Home Depot Canada, Verschuren oversaw the company’s rapid growth from 19 to more than 180 stores, including several in Nova Scotia. Verschuren began her career in Cape Breton and always remained closed to her roots, eventually serving as Chancellor of Cape Breton University.
